Four days of tasting, learning and live cooking at the province’s largest public gastronomy fair
More than 460 activities
From Friday 2 to Monday 5 October, more than 260 exhibitors fill both halls of Fira Alacant. The programme includes over 460 talks, demonstrations, workshops and tastings, with more than 130 Michelin-starred or Repsol-recognised chefs and professionals. Mexico is the 2026 guest country.
Visitors can sample tapas, join wine and cheese tastings, shop for products, watch culinary competitions and book masterclasses. Cook&Play offers cooking and recycling activities for children.
Competitions and leading chefs
Major events include the Paco Torreblanca international chocolate-cake award, the Spanish tortilla championship and competitions devoted to bread, tapas and regional dishes. Announced professionals include Jordi Roca, Paco Torreblanca, Carme Ruscalleda, Kiko Moya, Susi Díaz and María José San Román.
The programme starts at 9.30 am on Friday and runs across several stages and tasting rooms. Check the daily programme by venue shortly before visiting, as times may change.
Wristband, tastings and location
The fair describes admission as free, but every visitor must obtain a personal €2 smart wristband. Proceeds support Alicante Gastronómica Solidaria. The wristband provides access on all four days and becomes the official payment method at stands after adding credit.
Tastings and masterclasses are booked separately and may cost extra. Buy the wristband and reserve activities through the official ticket page. Fira Alacant is on the N-340 at kilometre 731, beside Alicante-Elche Airport.
